Types of Microscopes

Microscopes range from the easy single lens microscope to the sophisticated ones with imaging systems. Microscopes differ on the basis of their resolution, magnification, illumination method, type of image, field of view, degree of automation etc.

Depending on the radiation source, microscopes can be broadly classified as light, electron and confocal. Light microscopes use illustrated light as the radiation source. Light microscopes can be again classified into stereo microscopes and blend microscopes. Stereo microscopes are commonly known as dissection microscopes, which can furnish a 3-dimensional view of the object. blend microscopes furnish a 2- dimensional view of the objects that can be used for laboratory purposes. Phase unlikeness microscopes and dark field microscopes modify the theory of light microscopy to heighten optic capability of the specimen. Oil immersion microscopes use oil in the middle of the lens and specimen to growth the magnification.

Microscope

Electron microscopes are sophisticated types, which use a stream of electrons as the radiation source instead of light. These can ensure higher levels of magnification and are used effectively in the fields of geology, medicine and archaeology. Transmission electron microscope is used to magnify the internal details of a specimen using an electron beam. The 3 dimensional image of the specimen's covering can be analyzed using scanning electron microscope. Scanning transmission electron microscope is a modification of Tem, which scans the object at a faster rate. Confocal microscopes are very automated, and use laser as the radiation source. Fluorescence microscopes excite the dyed specimen with single radiation to furnish a brighter image.

Scanning probe microscopes are a group of microscopes, which form images by scanning the specimen using a bodily probe. Scanning probe microscopes in general comprise scanning tunneling microscopes, atomic force microscopes, near-field scanning optic microscopes etc. These have great applications in nanotechnology. Microscopes based on magnetic force, microwave, acoustics etc are also available. The inference microscope is used with perfectly transparent objects that are invisible under an ordinary microscope.

In day-to-day use, microscopes are classified on the basis of the whole of their lenses, i.e., monocular, binocular and trilocular.

How to Arrive at Truth

Even the most philosophers, contemporary as well as ancient, couldn't agree on a definition of their field of learning. No set of words seem to adequately gift or characterize this branch which, by all accounts, must be the largest, though not necessarily the greatest, of them all. But no matter. As a race of incredibly inquisitive beings, right from the very first day that we are born, there exists within all of us a profound yearning to know.

Maybe it is as the evolutionists proclaim. Plainly that the endeavor to know or to find out is none other than a manifestation of the basest of all desires. And this, they say, is the quest to survive. Do you suppose that I have just arrived at some truth? Hardly. The definition of an untruth is that even if a thousand indicators point to a single conclusion, it only takes one instant of something to point the other way and the entire principles falls over in a pathetic heap. Not my rules, but the tenets of science as its overbearing presence guards against any individual who dares to purport some new idea or theory.

Led Microscope Light

Darwin was precisely an individual of heavy capacity for genius and of policy as with all people of such acumen and thinking, he was at least a generation ahead of his time. He painstakingly, systematically, methodically, scientifically, empirically, observed, absorbed and explained what he saw in nature until a central theme to all his work was born. He accomplished that all life was connected. Over time, a lesser species led to a more sophisticated one by a series of mutations of its genetic code, preserving the most significant assets while discarding the rest. He observed this purely from a macroscopic viewpoint and extrapolated to he microscopic. This propagation of the fittest was affectionately coined as the process of natural selection.

Despite some very large scientific holes in the conference for the principles of evolution, not least of all the hitherto unexplained gaps in the genealogy of many species, this does nothing to shake the trust of today's scientific world in the theory. But scientists are for the most part very clever people, and they too have consciences and rather like the idea of being able to sleep a diminutive easier at night. So, they say that any philosophy based on the demonstration of scientific rigour that is observable, measurable and repeatable, stemming from things such as mathematical proofs or empirical evidence, is true. But guess what, this fantastic formula for discovering truth has precisely been more beneficial in retention untruths out than facilitating the discovery of new ones.

Ask any scientist you like: "Do you think we are in any place near to collectively knowing all there is?", and you will get the same answer. "No." Now ask: "How much do you think we do know, 1%, 10%, 50%..?" The ask is silly. Of policy it is. I don't think any scientist worth his salt will put a ration on it. In other words, the admission that we don't know everything is made without hesitation but as to how much we know, there is no answer. But the scientist has a very cunning excuse out of this, saying that given time, all things may be known and all things may be explained using exactly the same scientific methods. A statement of faith if I ever heard one. In any case even this fantastic formula for finding truth is flawed. Case in point is that, for more than two centuries, Newton's laws of request for retrial stood unchallenged until Einstein came along and said that the mass of an object can no longer be assumed to be constant under all circumstances because if it is made to accelerate near to the speed of light, mathematics as well as observable evidence propose its mass will increase.

Given the above, did science abandon its methods? No. If therefore we can be fooled into mental that something is true using our current methods, who is to say that any of the things we know are true. This is just cold, light-of-day logic. But surely, I hear you say, you can't seriously propose that we should abandon our scientific methods just because one or two theories have subsequently been proven to be false? Furthermore, what about the countless examples of scientific truth prised out of nature's grasp because we stuck to these stringent methods.

Well, I led you level to it. A rare example of leading a horse to water And production it drink. You see, scientists hate this idea of the majority view. Think how justice in the world is dispensed. Judges use the idea that the majority view is the strict view. That is, if all members of a jury cannot agree on either a person is innocent or guilty of some crime, the majority verdict is then sought. But imagine if every quest for scientific truth was put to the test using the same criterion. For example suppose person proposes that the moon is made of cheese. We randomly choose, say, a hundred adults, ask their opinion and if at least 80% say it's true, based on whatever evidence is provided, we embrace the principles and place it among our annals of truth. How silly, I hear you say again. Yes, practically as silly as accepting the scientific criteria for discovering truth because the majority of scientists say it is the right way and firmly believe that it can be used to witness all truths.

Now, this brings me nicely to an individualistic formula of arriving at truth. One which also depends on a majority view but only one person at a time is asked to accept or reject it. This is where the autonomy of the individual comes to the fore. If a person accepts some principles of trust not based on scientific truth, we call it faith. The atheistic point of view regarding this is to say the least, blunt. The person who adopts faith as the central tenet of his or her life is precisely one lacking in confidence, preferring to look for illusory means by which to improve or enrich their lives. But I must differ. I think that the only thing that separates a person of faith from the person with no faith is that the previous is ready to believe whereas the latter is ready to disbelieve. The leading thing here is not to endeavor to say that either one or the other is the great way to live. Many atheists have converted and many careful have turned away from their faith based on their personal convictions and experiences, born out of the autonomy afforded to every individual.

Even if we are taught one way or other during childhood years, our autonomy does not mature until we are free to accept or reject those teachings in later years. So, here now is the crunch. Those who have some sort of faith in God, believe also that there is a much greater, infinitely first-rate existence beyond the one being experienced here. For whatever reason, we are earthbound for a period of time and when this ends, the sum total of our actions, reactions and inactions is used to reckon for us a place in our spiritual destiny. This is precisely an fantastic statement of hope and comfort to all those that faithfully devote themselves to their creed. As for the atheists, they prefer to think that they cannot allow themselves to be fooled by the trappings of some religion that for the most part seeks to restrict even the joys that are possible. When we are free to choose, there is no criterion other than that which weighs heavily on our hearts.

The right to pick and the choices an individual makes are the real ingredients of faith and truth.

important information Dealing With Hormone treatment For Prostate Cancer

Once a prostate tumor is gift in the body, definite male hormones help to promote its growth. So hormone treatment for prostate cancer can be used to block the production of those male hormones, resulting in either stalling the increase of the cancer or even shrinking the existing cancer. This recipe can be very productive for keeping the cancer under operate for an extended period of time.

Hormone treatment for prostate cancer can also be flourishing when the cancer ahs spread to other parts of the body, together with the bones, lymph nodes, liver or lungs. When the disease has spread throughout the body, it's no longer potential to remove the cancer with surgery, or even radiation. It's too difficult to search all the cancer cells in the body. any way hormone treatment can access cancer cells throughout the body, no matter how tiny they might be. It can also be used in situations where the inpatient is too physically weak to experience surgery.

Microscope

It's important to understand that hormonal therapy is not a cure for prostate cancer. However, it can do a very good job of slowing down the progression of the cancer, by restricting the increase of the prostate cancer cells, which are hormone dependent.

Let's take a look at the three main types of hormonal treatment used for prostate cancer.

Anti-androgen Therapy

In order to inhibit the increase of the cancer, anti-androgens are used to block the production of testosterone. Using anti-androgen therapy only reduces the amount of testosterone, rather than eliminating it completely, so it ordinarily has fewer side effects than other treatments such as medical castration. It's potential that anti-androgen will only be prescribed intermittently, rather than being used constantly. Interestingly, the body assuredly benefits from the retirement follow of stopping treatment.

There are three main anti-androgen drugs used to treat prostate cancer:

All of these are oral tablets, and they should be taken at the same time each day in order to sell out the chance of nausea. Other side effects are possible, so these should be discussed with your doctor if you consideration them. Your doctor may change your medication in order to avoid the side effects. Diarrhea is the main side follow noticed, although others may feel liver problems, fatigue or queasiness. ordinarily men with an active sex life won't find their libido or potency are affected in any way.

Orchiectomy

Orchiectomy is the surgical removal of the testicles, which is also referred to as medical castration. This is a rather drastic form of treatment, with potential side effects fluctuating from hot flushes to a loss of sexual desire or impotence. It's important for your urologist to escort a range of tests before recommending this treatment option.

Transillumination involves shining a very exciting light through the testicle, to make sure the increase isn't a benign cyst. An ultrasound will also be conducted, where high-frequency sound waves are rebounded off the tissues in your body. The waves are converted into pictures, and will help to show either the increase is a solid mass, which suggests a tumor, rather than filled with fluid, which is probably a cyst. Although an ultrasound is extremely productive for pathology tumors, it's unable to indicate either or not they are benign. Unfortunately ninety five percent of testicular tumors are malignant, and it's indispensable to check some of the growth's cells under a microscope to be certain.

Lh-Rh Agonists (Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Hormone)

Generally, these drugs are used in order to sell out the symptoms of developed prostate cancer. Lupron Depot (leuprolide acetate for depot suspension) is one of the most coarse drugs chosen. Lh-Rh agonists can't cure prostate cancer, but they can be very productive at reducing the levels of testosterone that the testicles produce. In some instances they may even do this as efficiently as medical castration. any way these drugs are very expensive, and the treatment needs to be monitored regularly, which is why surgical operation is regularly chosen as the favorite treatment.

Microscopes are instruments used to enhance the resolution of an object or image. Types include compound, stereo, or digital. Compound microscopes use a compound optical system with an objective lens and an eyepiece. Stereo microscopes show object depth in a three-dimensional image. Digital microscopes are used to display an image on a monitor, rather than looking through a lens. Microscopes can have monocular (one), binocular (two), or trinocular (three) eyepieces, with varying magnification abilities. Magnification ability refers to the size of an image. Resolution, also known as resolvant power, refers to the clarity of the image. The interaction between field of view (FOV), numerical aperture (NA), and working distance (WD) determines resolution. Microscopes can control magnification through a fixed focus, or through a range of adjustments. They can also utilize LED, fluorescent, and mirror light sources to help control viewing capabilities. Microscopes are widely used in education, lab research, biology, metallurgy, engineering, chemistry, manufacturing, and in the medical, forensic science, and veterinary industries.

Aven manufactures optical inspection tools, precision tools, and bench accessories for industrial, scientific, and research applications. The company was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI.

Matter and Spirit in Science and Religion

I. What Is The First Cause Of The Universe?: Although every creation must have a inventor God is the inventor but not the Cause of the universe. A cause implies a dependency with its effects. Since God is unchangeable God cannot be a cause. As Baha'u'llah explains, it is the "Word of God which is the Cause of the entire creation, while all else besides His Word are but the creatures and the effects thereof."(Tablets, p 140)

Baha'u'llah said that "Once in an age the powerful God sent a Soul to earth endowed with the power of the Great Ether and that such a Soul had all power and was able to do anything."

Led Microscope Light

Ii. What Is The Reality Of Ether?: In 1887, physicists Michelson and Morley tried to measure the incompatibility in the speed of light while the point of measurement moved towards the sun in the morning as well as away from the sun in the evening. This experiment assumed that if space was filled with ether, the measurements should indicate a higher speed of light as the earth moved through the ether towards the sun as well as a lower speed of light as the earth moved through the ether away from the sun. But no change in the velocity of light was ever observed! Later, Einstein declared the speed of light is constant regardless of the velocity of the observer. He also proposed that ether does not exist. Abdu'l-Baha, however, explained that ether does exist as an intellectual reality but is not measurable. He stated that ether is known through the military it exerts such as electromagnetic radiation. The all-pervading ether is a spiritual reality filled with an infinity of attributes that give rise to particles and energy and anything else is born. Ether is a spiritual manifestation of the Word of God that is the basic substance and inherent generator of all created things, both material and spiritual. It is an eternal reality that is spiritual in nature and corresponds to the constituent substance of all things along with that of the human spirit

"The substance and traditional matter of contingent beings is the ethereal power which is indiscernible and only known through its effects, such as electricity, heat and light - these are vibrations of that power, and this is established and proven in natural religious doctrine and is known as the ethereal substance. This ethereal substance is itself both the active force and the recipient; in other words, it is the sign of the Primal Will in the spectacular, world... " (translated from the Writings by Keven Brown, p 28)

Iii .What Are The Attributes Of Creation?: "What is the origin of this world? `Ether', `he replied. For all these beings take their rise from the ether and return into the ether. Ether is older than these, ether is their rest." (Upanishads, vol. 1)

The inventor creates through the Word of God the existence of creatures that manifest Its attributes. The Word of God possesses all of the attributes of God, where each is of infinite capacity. Ether, an intellectual substance, can also be idea of as consisting of all the attributes of God, where each is infinite in potentiality.

There is a inherent equating of the Word of God with ether. However, as Baha'u'llah says in His Tablet of Wisdom, the Word of God "is higher and far classic to that which the senses can perceive, for It is sanctified from any property or substance. It transcendeth the limitations of known elements and is exalted above all the valuable and recognized substances. It became manifest without any syllable or sound and is none but the Command of God which pervadeth all created things. It hath never been withheld from the world of being..."

"Brahman [The Word of God] is that from which the origin, subsistence and dissolution of this world go forward . . . An omniscient, omnipotent cause." Further, "the world originates from Brahman by thought. He wished, may I be many." (Taitt. Upanishad 2,6) Then, "Brahman emanates the world from Itself by idea and enters into it as the Self of all - It is omnipresent".

Causes are all the time changed by their effects, as the Upanishads state: "Mind, impelled by Brahma's desire to create, performs the work of creation by modifying itself, thence ether is produced... Om means ether (akasa) and that ether is the origin of all things may still sound to us more bodily than metaphysical; still the article given ether or akasa shows that more is meant by it than bodily ether and that ether is in fact one of the earlier and less exquisite names of the Infinite, of Brahman, the Universal Self." (Upanishads vol. 1)

"Let every Brahamana, concentrating his mind, fully recognize in the Self all things, both the real and the unreal, for he who recognizes the universe in the Self, does not give his heart to unrighteousness...The universe rests on the Self; for the Self produces the connection of these embodied (spirits) with actions." (Hindu, Laws of Manu)

"How resplendent the luminaries of knowledge that shine in an atom and how vast the oceans of wisdom that surge within a drop! To a supreme degree is this true of man who among all created things hath been invested with the robe of such gifts and hath been singled out for the glory of such distinction. For in him are potentially revealed all the attributes and names of God to a degree that no other created being hath excelled or surpassed. All these names and attributes are applicable to him. (Gleanings, p 177)

"He therefore who meditates on Om, meditates on the spirit in man as selfsame with the spirit in nature...but that meditation on Om alone, or that knowledge of what is meant by Om alone can fetch true salvation or true immortality. Thus the pupil is led on step by step to what is the highest object of the Upanishads, viz. The recognition of the self in man as selfsame with the highest Self or Brahman." (Upanishads, vol. 1)

Iv.What Is traditional Matter?: Plato stated all contingent things consist of both primordial matter, the traditional substance of the universe and a subtle counterpart, the form or fashioner which fashions the traditional substance into exact observable things. (Plato, pp 456-472)

At the very starting of fashioning God created "formless" traditional matter within which God's attributes fashioned this "formless" matter into personel beings according to their appointed capacities. All are made whether as spiritual beings abiding with God or as beings consuming in time and place.

V.What Fashioned Creation?: "It is the command of Him who all the time covers this world, the Knower, the Time of time, Who assumes qualities and all knowledge. It is at His command that this work (creation) unfolds itself, which is called earth, water, fire, air and ether; He Who after He has done that work and rested again has brought together one essence (the Self) with the other (matter) with one, two, three, or eight, with time also and with the subtile qualities of the mind.." (Upanishads, vol. 2, Svetasvatara-Upanishad),

Baha'u'llah said that two law are inherent in the Word of God, the active force and its recipient. He states:"The world of existence came into being through the heat generated from the interaction in the middle of the active force and that which is its recipient. These two are the same yet they are different...Such as review the generating sway [the communal attributes of God as the Fashioner] and such as receive Its impact [primary matter] are literally created through the irresistible Word of God.." (Tablets, pp 140-2)

To put all this in perspective, `Abdu'l-Baha discusses the three levels of existence: "The first emanation from God is the Bounty of the Kingdom which emanates and is reflected in the reality of the creatures like the light which emanates from the sun and is resplendent in creatures; and this bounty [the Word of God] which is the light is reflected in infinite forms in the reality of all things and specifies and individualizes itself according to the capacity, the worthiness and the intrinsic value of things." (Some Answered Questions, p, 295)

At every instant contingent beings along with the underlying particles of the universe and spiritual realities such as the soul are recreated through the Eternal Word of God. As `Abdu'l-Baha says on this, "All things are branch to transformation and change save only the cause of existence Itself."(Selections, p 157)

Vi How Is The Universe Expanding?: according to the standard Big-Bang law the universe started in a moment of nearly infinite temperature and density some fifteen billion years ago. Then the universe was infinitely or near infinitely hot; it exploded and has been addition ever since the "beginning" of the newest Big Bang.

Vii. What Happened Before The Last Big Bang?: fantasize the pre-Big-Bang universe as featureless, timeless, without attributes or forms. No time, no space, no contingent spirits except those formed in old cycles and no particles existed! Such entities without forms or attributes are traditional matter. "He created Himself - at that time there was no other. He consulted Himself for advice and what He did came to pass. At that time there were no Akashic records, no nether regions, nor the three worlds. At that time only the Formless Lord Himself existed - there was no creation. As it pleased Him so did He act; without Him there was no other." (Shri Guru Granth Sahib, Section 9)

"In the Primal Void the Infinite Lord assumed His Power. He Himself is unattached, infinite and incomparable. He Himself exercised His Creative Power and he gazes upon his creation; from the Primal Void He formed the Void. From this Primal Void He fashioned air and water. He created the universe and the king in the fortress of the body. Your light pervades fire, water and souls; Your Power rests in the Primal Void. From this Primal Void Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva issued forth. This Primal Void is pervasive throughout all the ages...From this Primal Void the earth and the Akashic Ethers were created. He supports them without any illustrated support by exercising His True Power." (Shri Guru Granth Sahib, Section 28.)

At the very starting once the attributes and forms are united with this traditional matter the resulting union starts to explode into an ethereal world of rapidly addition space, time and whirling vortices of ether that began to evolve into the present day universe.

Viii. Why Strings Versus Points?: In classical descriptions of natural forces, mathematical infinities arose from point particles getting too close to other particles. Unpleasant mathematical infinities arise as spatial regions are shrunk to zero. If particles are not thought about as points but are extended like tiny strings the problem of infinities goes away. It has been recognized that theories in which the most elementary objects are "strings" rather than points make sense and avoid erroneous infinities.

With respect to lines or strings, Baha'u'llah alluded to the process of creation in terms of lines: "Know then, that God, praised and glorified be He, took a line, split it lengthwise into two, rotated the one about the other, and so made from them the universe. The line, however, formeth only from the point when you move it. Conceive ye then our meaning" (unpublished Tablet, provisionally translated by Keven Brown; see references). In a sense, nature denies the existence of a point. As an attempted point starts to exist from pre-space, an infinitesimal elapse in time also forms. Since space and time are interconnected, the point moves in space-time forming an infinitesimal line.

A string possesses an infinite amount of modes of vibrations just like the harmonics of a violin string. The energy of each separate mode corresponds to separate elementary particles. Most string vibrations will have unobservable high energies but others include lower energies and attributes of known elementary particles. Such strings would have a greater dynamical behavior especially if these one-dimensional strings could wiggle as well as move about.

In one string law idea strings occupy eleven dimensions but the extra dimensions are micro-compacted to extremely small sizes. These extra dimensions manifest themselves as some internal properties of particles. The excitement roused by string law is that it explains how military and particles interact. This law might unite space, time, matter and military into one unified theory.

These strings can be whether open with two free ends or concluded into loops like rings. The more promising approach is to regard them as closed. The diameter of a string loop or ring is estimated at the Planck measure distance of 10-33 cm. The mathematical string moves and rotates in lowly space but also vibrates in other space dimensions. These vibrations yield energy and angular momentum and, as Einstein hypothesized, energy has mass.

Imagine now that ethereal matter has whirling motions like the air or water in such familiar vortices as tornadoes or the puny whirlpools at the bottom of a draining sink. A inherent model of a underlying particle is then a vibration mode of a tiny loop or indiscernible vortex ring rapidly rotating and vibrating at separate frequencies.

Imagine billions upon billions of such vortex patterns whirling and curling in all directions in the ether. Ether and ethereal rings have attributes of elasticity, density, pressure, mobility, etc. Sensible matter is not the rings but the combined modes of rapid vibrations of the ethereal rings that generate energy, matter and electromagnetic waves. The ether which is around us is the same as the ether which is within us. And the ether which is within us includes the ether within our heart.

The meaning of the term heart used in Baha'i Writings indicates a state of human consciousness that is beyond lowly feelings, beyond thought. It is within the soul and is not the bodily heart. When this spiritual heart is purified it's capable of reflecting the Word of God. In a state of union with the Word of God new purposes can develop in our soul. This may mean new insights into the universe in our quest for knowledge from which we can perhaps contemplate new relationships in or about the universe.

Usually science with a given code of scientific methodology can be done without using the heart. This means that the scientific recipe never in itself is self-sufficient. It may cut an otherwise open mind which should constitute a pure heart that could reflect the reality inherent in the truth of anything we are investigating.

This same state of mind Buddha dealt with as He defined the conditions of mindfulness valuable for meditation. "He who delights in subduing thoughts, he who meditates on impurities of things, he who is ever full of mindfulness, - It is he who will make an end of suffering and destroy the Mara's [The Tempter's] bond.... The meditative one who walks this path is released from the bonds of Mara." (Dhammapada - Sayings of the Buddha, tr. J. Richards))

The Upanishads State: "Ether in the heart (as Brahma) is omnipresent and unchanging.... In the ether all things is born.. As large as this ether is also large is that ether within the heart... What is called ether (Akasa) is the revealer of all forms and names. These forms and names are contained in Brahma, the Immortal, the Self.... He who understands all and who knows all, He to whom all this glory in the world belongs, the Self, is located in the ether in the heavenly city of Brahma (the heart). He assumes the nature of mind and becomes the guide of the body of the senses. He is the beginning, producing the causes which unite (the soul and the body) and being above the three kinds of time (past, present, future). He is seen as without parts after we have first worshipped that adorable God who has many forms and who is the true source (of all things) as dwelling in our own mind." (Upanishads, vol.2)

"He who thus vows his soul to the supreme Soul, quitting sin, passes unhindered to the endless bliss of unity with Brahma. He ... Sees the Life-Soul resident in all things living and all living things in that Life-Soul contained." (Hindu, Bhagavad Gita (Edwin Arnold translator)

Ix.How Is Ether related To The Human Spirit?: All religions state that man is made in the image of God. We consolidate all the names and attributes of God. In His Tablet of Wisdom Baha'u'llah infers that ether bears the closest likeness to the human spirit. Referring to Socrates, Baha'u'llah states: "He it is who perceived a unique, a tempered, and a pervasive nature in things, bearing the closest likeness to the human spirit, and he discovered this nature to be clear from the substance of things in their refined form. He hath a extra pronouncement on this gigantic theme. Wert thou to ask from the worldly wise of this generation about this exposition, thou wouldst contemplate their incapacity to grasp it."(Tablets, p 146)

The human soul has all the attributes of God but with finite capacities for each while ether has all of the attributes of God each with unlimited capacity. The Blessed Lord Krishna said: "I am the Self, seated in the hearts of all creatures. I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings....I am the transcendental Om.... There is no being - consuming or unmoving - that can exist without Me."

The human soul that animates the human body becomes an attractor for human attributes in the ether. `Abdu'l-Baha illuminates: "As the spirit of man is the cause of the life of the body...these members, these elements, this composition, which is found in the organism of man, are an attraction and a magnet for the spirit: :it is clear that the spirit will appear in it."

Ether may be idea of as continuous in the sense that it exists everywhere. Just as the flow of air creates pressure or suction forces, similarly the flow of ether creates electric, magnetic, light, heat, and gravity military that are transmitted from one place to another.

X. What Are measure Realities?: In 1900,physicist Max Planck proved energy is absorbed and emitted in assorted amounts called quanta. This started measure theory. Einstein interpreted Planck's hypothesis saying that light waves consist of quanta of energy he called photons. Thus began notions that waves have quanta related with them. Erwin Schrodinger transformed classical equations of particle petition into a wave equation relating position, momentum, time and energy of a material particle as a probabilistic theory. In his model all dynamical variables have probabilistic values. His measure law restricts how literally one can specify position versus momentum and time versus energy. These restrictions correspond to the famed Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. (Notes)

Xi.What Happened At The Beginning?: measure Physics can conclude the dilemma of a Big-Bang for which some think there may have been no "before". What occurs from moment to moment cannot be thinkable, with certainty. Only probabilities can be given.

Let us fantasize a universe within the first second of its history. Before the universe began there was no time, no space, no matter and no idea of "before." Only the introductory traditional matter existed. Then the Word of God caused this traditional matter to be joined with the eternal attributes of God.

Physicists say matter and energy that we contemplate or measure today initially busy a volume smaller than the dimensions of an atom! [But before the union of the active force with traditional matter all things was initially spiritual!] Matter and energy were caused by the creation of extremely superheated ether vortices. The temperature that was generated by the heat of reaction of the active force (the attributes of God) on the passive recipient (primary matter) was enormous, about 1032 degrees Kelvin. Consequently traditional matter was individualized into billions upon billions of ethereal vortices sweeping out into the newly formed space and time attributes. Secondary components, perhaps sequentially, were formed out of these spinning loops of extremely hot ethereal plasma (like the element Plato called fire). When the extremely hot furnace of ether exploded the energy imparted to ethereal matter was so great that this escaping and whirling ether formed a gaseous matter (the element Plato called air) that was full of particles like electrons, positrons and neutrinos inside this plasma "hot soup."

These underlying particles smashed into each other with energies like 1019 Giga electron volts (GeV) or a trillion times the energy of the biggest particle collider than a physicist can fantasize building. Gravity roared in as a powerful but puny understood sway at this puny scale. While space was addition the particles presence tended to reverse this expansion at rates inversely proportional to the square of the distances in the middle of masses.Gravitation military started a "tug of war" with the military of expansion of the spaces in the middle of masses.

After this starting the expansion would cool this super-hot anarchy of colliding matter. As the universe cooled supplementary the collisions became less violent and began to coagulate into protons, neutrons and other heavier particles. (These were like the first liquid state elements that Plato equated with "water.") Earlier, such a union would have come apart in the violent collisions.

As universal cooling continued, collisions became gentler. After three minutes, temperatures had fallen sufficient to allow protons and neutrons to consolidate into garage nuclei. This is called the nucleosynthesis period. This corresponded to the first solid state (that Plato called the "earth" element), all of which began to rule the increase and formation of our baby universe. Atoms (nuclei plus electrons) didn't form until the temperature fell sufficient to permit electrons to develop themselves around nuclei. The exact temperature for this occurred about 300,000 years later! Before that time no atoms existed. Since we know a lot about nuclear physics we can conclude the relative abundances of the chemical elements that did form. introductory nuclei were nuclei of very light elements. Heavier elements required slower "cooking" in the stars.

Nuclear reactions in stars produced elements whose nuclei were tightly bound and these elements included carbon, oxygen and calcium. Once neutral atoms formed photons could move freely and that is why the microwave photon data arrived so late. This nucleosynthesis law and resulting microwave photons were confirmed by measurements.

When faith is activated in man through man's trust in the Manifestation of God he becomes potentially related to all of reality. The reality of all things is spiritually present within us. Reality resonates in our soul. As we then resonate with all things we may come to understand these realities more deeply. We can contemplate that the world in which we live is alive! "All things are living!" Spirit and life exist according to the requirements of anything stage they are in. So why not enjoy the enterprise of nature in a dialogue rather than conquer it and standard it for our own purpose?

Xii. What Is The Mind-Body Connection?: Since ether has the same substance as the human soul our spiritual soul and attributes we regularly associate with matter come from the same source. The soul literally animates the body. The mind can manifest suggestions or commands to the body whether voluntarily or automatically. Manifestation is a major quality of our spiritual soul. As far as present ideas are concerned, we can reconsider those spiritual realities emerging from the mind such as ideas, thoughts and information. The mind and the heart are faculties of the soul. The soul employs the mind and heart as it deals with data and responses to it.

For idea processes there is active data serving as a link in the middle of our two [material and spiritual] sides (The age-old mind-body issue). What is proposed is that there are not two processes; it is suggested that both are essentially united as one overall faculty.

The mind-body issue has stumped experts over the ages as to how this mind-body boundary is crossed. Before the "crossing," our thoughts and aware decisions generate in our etheric soul. Karl Popper, the philosopher, suggested that consciousness was a manifestation of some kind of force field in the brain! Popper emphasized that many attributes of the "mind" were also attributes of forces. [But the mind is incorporeal yet is capable of being influenced by matter and of influencing matter.] Nevertheless, Popper proposed that the mind is a three-layered structure. The neurons with their performance potentials record the bottom layer that interacts directly with the body. The next layer, the electromagnetic wave fields (produced by neural activities) record the unconscious part of our mind. [But the mind is literally part of the soul that initiates electromagnetic waves that can yield self-acting neural activities that function as a unconscious field.] And in the last layer, that is, the aware mind, our aware reasoning intensities and our aware experiences are capable of interacting through electromagnetic patterns with these unconscious electromagnetic force fields.

These concepts resonate strongly with the idea emphasized by Baha'u'llah about Socrates statement that the soul has the same substance as the ether in which electromagnetic waves persist. Consequently reasoning and decision-making manifest ethereal waves, which are basically electromagnetic waves that interact with the "unconscious electromagnetic fields" of our neural activities.

Some of the laws of physics and some of the attributes of matter might be applied to spirit, ether and the human soul. For example, since ether is of the same substance as the human soul we can apply some of the attributes of ether as a medium for the propagation of electromagnetic waves. Some attributes of the ether are elasticity, density, permeability, pressure, etc. Such attributes furnish an consuming opening to investigate ether, the human soul and other spiritual entities.

The hereafter unfolding of knowledge will be of things that we have not previously known. Baha'u'llah states, "In the days to come ye will literally note things of which ye have never heard before. Thus hath it been decreed in the Tablets of God, and none can realize it except them whose sight is sharp." (Gleanings, p 142)

We are participants in the creative unfoldment of God's Primal Will so that humanity could be related with its inner reality. There is no more beautiful contact than when our participation in Reality goes beyond its accustomed limits. In such times reality takes on new glory or splendor. This becomes an exhilarating contact of the human soul. This contact of oneness with the Eternal some call ecstasy. This heightening sense of realization exposes us to life as it literally is.

Antibiotics - Good or Bad? When To Take Them, When To Refrain And What To Do After We've Taken Them!

The odds that you've had one of those nasty winter or spring colds are pretty high. These are the colds that seem to drag on forever gently turning into an upper respiratory infection. We feel awful, lack power and regularly as a last resort find ourselves in room filled with other habitancy coughing and spluttering, waiting to see the doctor. Unfortunately, the doctor's usual response will be to put you on a policy of antibiotics.

Don't get me wrong. I am not against the allowable use of antibiotics. They have the possible to be lifesavers when used properly, but they are not a cure-all. Antibiotics are regularly used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as tuberculosis, salmonella, and some forms of meningitis. However, they do not work against other organisms such as viruses or obvious fungi. It's foremost to bear this in mind if you think you have some sort of infection, because viruses regularly cause many tasteless illnesses, particularly of the upper respiratory tract such as the tasteless cold and sore throats.

Microscope

A virus is a limited organism that lives as a sycophant in plants, animals, and bacteria and consists of a nucleic acid core within a protein sheath. Most habitancy who have a head cold, runny nose, cough, muscle ache, sore throat and even a fever have a virus. Viruses regularly cause illness for 7-14 days and the symptoms can be treated with non-prescription drugs like herbal decongestants, cold formulas and cough syrups. Antibiotics do not work against viruses, only against bacteria.

Bacteria are single-celled, often parasitic microorganisms without a obvious nuclei or organized cell structure. There are good and bad bacteria. Many types of bacteria do not cause illness and live harmlessly on, and in, the human body. The bad bacteria cause serious illnesses such as pneumonia, meningitis, dysentery and blood poisoning.
These illnesses can be life threatening and can best be treated with antibiotics. If these bacteria become resistant, then it becomes very difficult, even impossible to treat them. Overuse of antibiotics can lead to bacteria becoming unyielding to them so it's foremost to only take them when for real necessary.

How Do Antibiotics Work?

The very first antibiotic, penicillin along with a family of connected antibiotics (such as ampicillin, amoxicllin and benzylpenicillin) is still widely used to treat many tasteless infections. Our healthy, strong immune systems, with their antibodies and extra white blood cells, can regularly kill harmful bacteria before they multiply enough to cause symptoms. And even when symptoms do occur, the body can often fight off the infection. Sometimes if the immune principles is not strong it becomes overwhelmed by a bacterial infection and needs help to get rid of it. This is where antibiotics come in. Some antibiotics, such as the penicillin's, are 'bactericidal', meaning that they work by killing bacteria. They do this by interfering with the formation of the cell walls or cell contents of the bacteria. Other antibiotics are 'bacteriostatic', meaning that they work by stopping bacteria multiplying.

Unfortunately, the antibiotics do not differentiate between our good bacteria, especially in the gut, and destroy them all! This damage to the destruction of the "gut flora" can have very serious consequences. These beneficial bacteria perform crucial tasks, from boosting our immune system, aiding digestion, warding off allergies to assisting in the elimination of harmful toxins. These friendly bacteria contain Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidus and Bulgaricus, supplements for which can be found in any condition food store's refrigerated section. They safe us against pathogens such as Salmonella, yeast, cholera, and the bad E. Coli. Once gone, these friendly bacteria are substituted by hostile bacteria such as Pseudomonas, Clostridium, and Klebsiella, and by Candida yeast, a noteworthy member of the fungi family.

Side Effects Of Antibiotics

The most tasteless side effects with antibiotic drugs are diarrhea, feeling sick and being sick. Fungal infections of the mouth, digestive tract and vagina can also occur with antibiotics because they destroy the protective 'good' bacteria in the body (which help forestall overgrowth of any one organism), as well as the 'bad' ones, responsible for the infection being treated.

Rare, but more serious side effects, contain the formation of kidney stones, abnormal blood clotting, increased sensitivity to the sun, blood disorders, and deafness.

Sometimes, particularly in older people, antibiotic medicine can cause a type of colitis (inflamed bowel) foremost to severe diarrhea. Penicillin's, cephalosporin's and erythromycin can all cause this problem but it is most tasteless with clindamycin, an antibiotic regularly reserved for serious infections. If you compose diarrhea while taking an antibiotic, immediately perceive your doctor.

Some habitancy are allergic to antibiotics, particularly penicillin, and can compose side effects such as a rash, swelling of the face and tongue, and difficulty breathing. All the time tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic; sometimes the reaction can be serious or even fatal. This is called an anaphylactic reaction. You should use an antibiotic with care if you have reduced liver or kidney function. It goes without saying if you are pregnant or breastfeeding tell your doctor before taking any prescribe drugs including antibiotics.

How To Use An Antibiotic If You Have To Take Them

Antibiotics are regularly taken orally but also given by injection or applied to the affected part of the body. The drugs begin to tackle most infections within a few hours. It is vital to take the whole policy of medicine to forestall recurrence of the infection. Sometimes bacteria become 'resistant' to an antibiotic you have been taking, meaning the drug will no longer work. Resistance tends to occur when the bacterial infection responsible for the symptoms is not completely cured, even if the symptoms have cleared up. Some of the residual bacteria, having been exposed to, but not killed by, the antibiotic are more likely to grow into an infection that can survive that single antibiotic. This explains why finishing the policy of antibiotics, even if you feel better, is important.

Certain antibiotics should not be taken with obvious foods and drinks. Some antibiotics are best taken when there is no food in your stomach, regularly an hour before meals or two hours after - make sure you supervene the instructions on the dispensing label. Do not drink alcohol if you are taking metronidazole. Do not take tetracyclines with dairy products, as these can sell out the absorption of this type of antibiotic.

There are a number of foremost interactions between antibiotics and other medicines so it's foremost to tell which your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you are taking.

Restoring beneficial Bacteria

If for some presuppose you have had to go on a policy of antibiotics, try to boost your natural immune principles and supervene this rescue plan:

- Stay away from sugar or artificial sweeteners. Use Stevia or Lo-Han instead.

- No mushrooms or cheese. No yeasty foods, like bread, rolls or beer.

- Eliminate fruits and fruit juices (except for tart apples).

- Cut down on grains. After two weeks introduce gluten-free whole grains like Auinoa, corn or millet.

- Don't drink coffee, tea, herb tea or coffee substitutes as they often harbor molds.

- Avoid supermarket salad dressings, vinegar, soy or Worcestershire sauce and horseradish.

- Drink anti-fungal teas like paud'arco, angelica root, bergamot, hyssop, chamomile and alfalfa.

- Eat unsweetened, plain yogurt or kefir that contain lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidus and bulgaricus.

- Use olive oil to cook with as a dressing on salads and vegetables.

- Drink organic, green vegetable juices.

- Use raw almond butter.

- Cook with garlic. It contains allicin, a natural anti-fungal chemical.

- Take grape seed excerpt in water last thing at night.

- Take an antioxidant supplement that includes vitamins E, A, and C (among others) zinc and selenium

For this dietary plan to be affective it should be prolonged for at least 4 to 6 weeks, any way before starting any dietary agenda All the time check with you doctor first. When coming off the plan you can try eating foods you have cut out, one at a time to see how they make you feel. If you get gas or bloating stop taking the food for another few weeks. Following this plan for the recommended number of time will help boost your immune principles and help you to stay healthy.

How Do InkJet Printers Work

The printers utilizing inkjet technology were first introduced in the late 1980s and since then have gained much popularity while growing in doing and dropping in price. They are the most coarse type of computer printers for the normal consumer due to their low cost, high capability of output, capability of printing in vivid color, and ease of use. Each printer which works on inkjet technology places extremely small droplets of ink onto paper to originate a text or an image. In the personal and small firm computer market, inkjet printers currently predominate. Inkjets are normally inexpensive, quiet, reasonably fast, and many models can produce high capability output. Like most contemporary technologies, the present-day inkjet is built on the improve made by many earlier versions. Among many contributors, Epson, Hewlett-Packard and Canon can claim a vast share of credit for the development of the contemporary inkjet technology.

In the worldwide consumer market, four manufacturers inventory for the majority of inkjet printer sales: Canon, Hewlett-Packard, Epson, and Lexmark. The typical inkjet printer normally includes inkjet printhead assembly, paper feed assembly, power supply, operate circuitry and interface ports. The inkjet printhead assembly contains several components. One of them is the printhead which is the core of the inkjet printer and contains a series of nozzles that are used to spray drops of ink. an additional one printhead component is the inkjet cartridge or inkjet tank. Depending on the manufacturer and model of the printer, ink cartridges come in assorted combinations, such as detach black and color cartridges, color and black in a singular cartridge or even a cartridge for each ink color. The cartridges of some inkjet printers contain the print head itself. The printhead along with the inkjet cartridge/s are moved back and forth over the paper by device called a stepper motor using a extra belt.

Led Microscope Light

Some printers have an additional stepper motor to park the print head assembly when the printer is not in use which means that the print head assembly is restricted from accidentally moving. The print head assembly uses a stabilizer bar to ensure that movement is exact and controlled. One of the paper feed assembly components is the paper tray or/and paper feeder. Most inkjet printers have a tray that the paper is loaded into. The feeder typically snaps open at an angle on the back of the printer, allowing the paper to be placed in it. Feeders commonly do not hold as much paper as a customary paper tray. A set of rollers pull the paper in from the tray or feeder and improve the paper when the print head assembly is ready for an additional one pass after which an additional one step motor powers the rollers to move the paper in the exact increment needed to ensure a continuous image is printed.

While earlier printers often had an external transformer, most printers sold today use a approved power supply that is incorporated into the printer itself. A small but sophisticated estimate of circuitry is built into the printer to operate all the mechanical aspects of operation, as well as decode the information sent to the printer from the computer. It is associated to the computer by a cable straight through the interface port. The interface port can be either parallel port, Usb port or Scsi port. The parallel port is still used by many printers, but most newer printers use the Usb port. A few printers associate using a serial port or small computer system interface (Scsi) port. Separate types of inkjet printers exist based on the formula they use to deliver the droplets of ink. There are three main inkjet technologies currently used by printer manufacturers. The thermal bubble technology used by manufacturers such as Canon and Hewlett Packard is commonly referred to as bubble jet. In a thermal inkjet printer, tiny resistors originate heat, and this heat vaporizes ink to originate a bubble.

As the bubble expands, some of the ink is pushed out of a nozzle onto the paper. When the bubble collapses, a vacuum is created. This pulls more ink into the print head from the cartridge. A typical bubble jet print head has 300 or 600 tiny nozzles, and all of them can fire a droplet simultaneously. Thermal inkjet technology is used approximately exclusively in the consumer inkjet printer market. The ink used is normally water-based, pigment-based or dye-based but the print head is produced normally at less cost than other ink jet technologies. Contrary to the bubble jet technology, the piezoelectric technology, patented by Epson, uses piezo crystals. A crystal is placed at the back of the ink depot of each nozzle. The crystal receives a tiny galvanic charge that causes it to vibrate. When the crystal vibrates inward, it forces a tiny estimate of ink out of the nozzle. When it vibrates out, it pulls some more ink into the depot to replace the ink sprayed out.

The continuous inkjet formula is used commercially for marking and coding of products and packages. The first patent on the idea is from 1867, by William Thomson. The first commercial model was introduced in 1951 by Siemens. In continuous inkjet technology, a high-pressure pump directs liquid ink from a depot straight through a minute nozzle, creating a continuous stream of ink droplets. A piezoelectric crystal causes the stream of liquid to break into droplets at regular intervals. The ink droplets are subjected to an electrostatic field created by a charging electrode as they form. The field is assorted agreeing to the degree of drop deflection desired. This results in a controlled, variable electrostatic charge on each droplet. Charged droplets are separated by one or more uncharged "guard droplets" to minimize electrostatic repulsion in the middle of neighboring droplets. The Charged droplets are then directed (deflected) to the receptor material to be printed by electrostatic deflection plates, or are allowed to continue on undeflected to a variety gutter for reuse.

Continuous inkjet is one of the oldest inkjet technologies in use and is fairly mature. One of its advantages is the very high velocity (~50 m/s) of the ink droplets, which allows the ink drops to be thrown a long distance to the target. an additional one advantage is free time from nozzle clogging as the jet is always in use When printing is started, the software application sends the data to be printed to the printer driver which translates the data into a format that the printer can understand and checks to see that the printer is online and available to print. The data is sent by the driver from the computer to the printer via the relationship interface. The printer receives the data from the computer. It stores a distinct estimate of data in a buffer. The buffer can range from 512 Kb random access memory (Ram) to 16 Mb Ram, depending on the printer model. Buffers are beneficial because they allow the computer to conclude with the printing process quickly, instead of having to wait for the actual page to print. If the inkjet printer has been idle for a duration of time, it will normally go straight through a short cleaning cycle to make sure that the print heads are clean. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, the inkjet printer is ready to begin printing. The operate circuitry activates the paper feed stepper motor.

This engages the rollers, which feed a sheet of paper from the paper tray / feeder into the printer. A small trigger mechanism in the tray / feeder is depressed when there is paper in the tray or feeder. If the trigger is not depressed, the inkjet printer lights up the "Out of Paper" Led and sends an alert to the computer. Once the paper is fed into the inkjet printer and positioned at the start of the page, the print head stepper motor uses the belt to move the print head assembly over the page. The motor pauses for the merest fraction of a second each time that the print head sprays dots of ink on the page and then moves a tiny bit before stopping again. This stepping happens so fast that it seems like a continuous motion. Complicated dots are made at each stop. It sprays the Cmyk (cyan / magenta / yellow / black) colors in exact amounts to make any other color imaginable. At the end of each perfect pass, the paper feed stepper motor advances the paper a fraction of an inch. Depending on the inkjet printer model, the print head is reset to the starting side of the page, or, in most cases, naturally reverses direction and begins to move back over the page as it prints. This process continues until the page is printed. The time it takes to print a page can vary widely from printer to printer. It will also vary based on the complexity of the page and size of any images on the page. Once the printing is complete, the print heads are parked. The paper feed stepper motor spins the rollers to conclude pushing the completed page into the yield tray.

Most inkjet printers today use inkjet inks that are very fast-drying, so that you can immediately pick up the sheet without smudging it. Compared to earlier consumer-oriented printers, inkjet printers have a estimate of advantages. They are quieter in doing than impact dot matrix printers or daisywheel printers. They can print finer, smoother details straight through higher printhead resolution, and many inkjet printers with photorealistic-quality color printing are widely available. In comparison to more costly technologies like thermal wax, dye sublimations, and laser printers, the inkjet printers have the advantage of approximately no warm-up time and lower cost per page (except when compared to laser printers).

The disadvantages of the inkjet printers contain flimsy print heads (prone to clogging) and costly inkjet cartridges. This typically leads value-minded consumers to think laser printers for medium-to-high volume printer applications. Other disadvantages contain ink bleeding, where ink is carried sideways away from the desired location by the capillary effect; the succeed is a muddy appearance on some types of paper. Most inkjet printer manufacturers also sell extra clay-treated paper designed to reduce bleeding. Because the ink used in most inkjet cartridges and ink tanks is water-soluble, care must be taken with inkjet-printed documents to avoid even the smallest drop of water, which can cause severe "blurring" or "running."

Besides the well known small inkjet printers for home and office, there is a shop for pro inkjet printers; some being for page-width format printing, and most being for wide format printing. "Page-width format" means that the print width ranges from about 8.5" to 37". "Wide format" means that these are inkjet printers ranging in print width from 24" up to 15'. The application of the page-width inkjet printers is for printing high-volume firm communications that have a lesser need for flashy layout and color. Particularly with the increasing of variable data technologies, the page-width inkjet printers are foremost in billing, tagging, and individualized catalogs and newspapers. The application of most of the wide format inkjet printers is for printing advertising graphics; a minor application is printing of designs by architects or engineers.

Bird Flu security And The Measures Taken To Safeguard Ourselves

Bird flu is caused by the influenza A type of virus which is hosted by birds and some animal species like pigs, horses, etc. And just like any other influenza virus it propagates via air, water, direct contact, body fluids and excreta. With the flu virus being airborne, the contamination in air could be reasonably high during epidemics and/or pandemic outbreak. Infected citizen carry the flu virus with them wherever they voyage and spread it in the air and on objects they touch via their nasal secretions and corporeal discharges. This makes such diseases like human influenza and bird flu contagious.

The preventive measures consist of combinations of various partly efficient methods like vaccination, immunization, isolation, mass killing (when poultry birds get infected), and use of Personal Protective equipment (Ppe).

Microscope

One such Ppe device is a mask worn by citizen living or working in contaminated environments. Nose and mouth respirators or 'Masks' consist of filters which keep out miniature viruses of sizes as low as 0.3 microns. Typically the droplets containing the flu virus in a human sneeze, cough or spit are 0.5 micron wide and are difficult to filter using accepted (surgical) masks.

Usage of procedural and surgical masks has been ample for curtailing the spread of tasteless respiratory diseases. Recently they were used by personnel complicated in controlling Sars. However, Centre for Disease control and stoppage (Cdc) reports that there have been no scientific studies which absolutely manufacture masks as 100% efficient in preventing the spread of the flu virus.

The masks that are recommended for especially bird flu are N-95, Niosh beloved ones which are capable of filtering out 95% of 0.3 micron wide flu viruses. Who recommends strictly using these masks when in the vicinity (within 3 feet) of a potentially infected person. Also the masks should be disposed off, after one particular use. Someone else set of very powerful, protective masks are Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (Paprs). These are used by persons who cannot wear N-95 masks, like citizen with facial hair.

There is more to mask usage than just filtering out viruses. Masks can also help in many indirect ways apart from blocking flu viruses directly, however we must bear in mind an unfortunate fact that no mask is a warrant against protecting its user from the viruses. It's just that they dramatically cut down the probability of infection. There is no particular way of preventing bird flu until a generic vaccine is developed. Until then we'll have to rely on a combination of various measures to keep ourselves safe.
